To celebrate their opening of Maggie’s in Manchester we will be staging one of the biggest and most inspirational charity events of the year. We are now looking for 50 models to strut their stuff on our fabulous Concorde Catwalk at the Runway Visitor Park, Manchester Airport on the afternoon of Saturday 11th June 2016.

THE SHOW

Maggie’s on the Runway is a fashion show with a difference. All of our models will be either living with or have been affected by cancer in their lives. 

The fashion show will take place from 1.30pm until 3.30pm and be preceded by a drinks reception for guests. 

WHAT MODELS SHOULD EXPECT

Our fashion show will give you a once in a life time experience You will be treated to a fashion and beauty makeover by some of the best in the industry and you will also have the opportunity to meet other people who have been affected by cancer, form friendships and support each other through your journey to the catwalk. 

REHEARSALS & STYLING

Models will be required to attend several rehearsals in the run up to the event as well as a styling session with our fashion partners.

The rehearsals will take place at the new Maggie’s at the Christie centre.

Models will need to arrange and cover their own travel costs to rehearsals, styling and to the event itself.

PR & MEDIA

As part of the promotion of the event and Maggie’s Manchester, we will be asking a select group pf models to share their experiences with the public through various media, such as newspapers, TV, radio and social media.  Full support will be available from our own professional PR team to assist with this.

FUNDRAISING

We will be asking all our models to engage in fundraising for Maggie’s on the run up to the event.
