Following his sell-out UK tour, pop icon and multi-million selling artist Mr Rick Astley was our headline act for  Maggie's on the Runway 2016.  Rick is currently by far one of the most talented and charismatic entertainers in the UK. He performed first of all at our Afternoon Fashion Show and again at our Evening Gala Ball under the iconic wingspan of Concorde.  

One of the music industry’s most distinctive voices, Rick Astley has left an indelible mark on pop-culture since his emergence into the limelight nearly three decades ago. With well over 40 million records sold, and an enviable back-catalogue of chart-topping hits, Astleyremains one of the most successful solo artists to have emerged from these isles, holding the distinction of being the first male solo artist to see his first eight singles reach the UK Top Ten.

Following his appearance at Maggie's on the Runway, Rick went on to smash the UK charts with his platinum selling album 50 inspired by his landmark birthday .– he turned 50 in February 2916.
