Class of Sass!
Cancer treatment can be really tough. For women it is life changing, body altering and can be a real knock to your self confidence and femininity.
Maggie’s on the Runway 2018 saw a group of ladies take to the catwalk in their underwear and swimwear. The result was extraordinary and these ladies raised heartbeats, smiles and also the roof!
It became obvious that this was a very important part of our event so this afternoon, MOTR 2021 is proud to introduce our Class of Sass!
All our ladies all have individual stories and reasons for taking part in this catwalk. Back at the beginning of rehearsals these shy ladies began to realise just what was involved. There has been an incredible amount of hard work from all involved, countless practicing, tears of joy, private wobbles doubting themselves whether they could actually do it but hey kept on going though.
Today you will witness the result. You will see our magnificent ladies who have grown in confidence and pride take to the stage. For all of them this has been an incredible journey and transformation.

Our colleagues chose to support Maggie’s Manchester and Maggie’s Oldham back in the Summer of 2018 and since then have taken part in a number of fundraising and volunteering events to support Maggie’s. The dedication colleagues have shown is demonstrated in the amount we have raised for the Maggie’s which now stands at just over £100,000 which we are so proud of.
As a team here today at NBrown we have supported these ladies on the journey to find lingerie they love and we have had the most uplifting experience assisting these amazing women.
The energy in the sessions we attended at Maggie’s was beyond humbling. We as a society can learn a lot from this group of ladies as the positivity and their perspective of celebrating life and all it has to offer was truly outstanding.
The togetherness within the group of ladies was such an honour to witness as well as seeing the support they provided for each other. These ladies are beyond brave and the lingerie team at NBrown feel privileged to help them on their journey and instil some self-confidence back into their lives by offering them advice on their lingerie needs and helping them embrace their bodies.
